Patuakhali-Payra power plant starts transmission

The government has started power supply of 45.6-kilometer long 230kV Patuakhali-Payra transmission line last week.

The transmission line will facilitate the electricity evacuation from 1320MW Payara coal-fired power plants and some other mega power plants in Barishal and Khulna regions to the national grid.
