LAUGFS Gas opening new corporate office in Bangladesh

LAUGFS Gas Bangladesh Ltd, formerly known as the Petredec ELPIJI Ltd, a subsidiary of the SriLankan Giant LAUGFS Holding Ltd has inaugurated its corporate office here in Gulshan-1, Dhaka on March 24, 2016.

They inaugurated their office where their Chairman WKH Wegapitiya, Managing Director Thilak De Silva, and Chief Executive Officer and Director Mohammed Saidul Islam outlined their vision as they see it as a new beginning where limitless possibilities will be realized, said a press release.

LAUGFS Gas is one of the largest LPG distributors in Bangladesh, importing and distributing over 25,000 MT of LPG every year.

Having entered the local LPG downstream industry in 1997, we have grown rapidly over the years, establishing an expansive distribution network across the country with an annual turnover exceeding US $ 31 million.

LAUGFS operates a world-class LPG import, bottling and distribution facility in Mongla Port with a storage capacity of 1,800 MT.

We distribute LPG for domestic, commercial and industrial customers under the PETREGAZ and KLEENHEAT brands, which has captured over 23% market share.

Being the first to introduce Autogas to Bangladesh, LAUGFS also supplies to service stations in Khulna, Jessore, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Dhaka.
