Engr. Monzurul made chairman of Atomic Energy Commission

Engr. Md  Monzurul Haque has joined as the current charge of chairman of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) on January 30.

Previously he was working as a member (engineering) of the organisation.

He started his career in BAEC in 1981 as an assistant engineer. In his 35-years-long career, he has glorious contributions to the research and development activities of BAEC. He has got a good number of national and international publications.

Monzurul has been a mastermind of many successful national projects focusing on enhancement and up-gradation of research and development activities of BAEC.

He has been a very active and successful steering committee member of Asian Nuclear Safety Network (ANSN). He earned his B.Sc. Eng. (electrical and electronics) degree from BUET in 1981.

He has got professional trainings in various countries of the world including USA, Slovenia, Indonesia, Yugoslavia, India, Japan, Korea etc.

He participated in various technical meetings, seminars, workshops in many different countries e.g., Austria, China, India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Greece, Korea, Japan and Philippine.

Monzurul Haque was born on September 1, 1958 at Saidpur in the district of Nilphamari.
