MIDAS will conduct a baseline survey for access to energy in Bangladesh

Micro Industries Development Assistance and Services (MIDAS), a promotional organisation in the private sector, will conduct a baseline survey for global multi-tier measurement for access to energy in Bangladesh.

Funded by the World Bank, it will the first time, such type of survey will be conducted in the country.

Engr Mohammad Hossain, director general of Power Cell and Dr A S M Mashi-ur-Rahman, managing director of MIDAS signed an agreement in this regard on behalf of their respective organisations on Monday in Dhaka.

Mohammad Amzad Hossain, director of Power Cell, Ziaul Moquit, senior general manager and Md Ebrahim Hossain, assistant general manager of MIDAS were also present on the agreement ceremony.
