Three electrocuted in Jhenaidah

Three people were electrocuted in separate incidents in the district today.

The deceased were identified as Bulu Biswas, 30, a resident at Ramnagar village of Harinakuda upazila, Sujon Hossain, 18, of Vutiargati village in Sadar upazila and Abul Kashem, 25, hailed from Hudaputia village under Sadar upazila.

Police said Bulu Biswas was electrocuted and died this morning when working on domestic electric line at his cow`s house.

Besides, Sujon was electrocuted after being caught by electric cable lying on the crop field while working there at Vutiargati village.

Meanwhile, Abul Kashem was electrocuted as he came in touch with a live electric wire at his village home. Locals rushed him to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital where on duty doctors declared him dead.
